Job Description

Inpatient Hospitalist
BC Internal Medicine/Hospitalist coverage to help pick up shifts.
Provider will need to come in day before for orientation.
NC DEA required.
DAY SHIFT OPENINGS: 7a – 7p
Wednesday, March 1st – Thursday, March 9th
Friday, March 17th – Sunday, March 19th
Tuesday, March 28th – Thursday, March 30th
NIGHT SHIFTS: 7p – 7a
Monday, March 6th
Tuesday, March 21st
Monday, April 3rd – Wednesday, April 5th
Average number of Patients/Day: 15-20 during the day & 2-8 at night
Average number of Admissions/Day: 6
Average number of Admissions/Night: 5-10
ICU Critical Care duties
No midlevel support during the night
LT responds to Codes
Not expected to serve as back up in ER
BLS and ACLS certified
Procedures required for night shift (preferred for day): vent management, central lines, and intubations
ECU Health Beaufort Hospital Campus of ECU Health Medical Center:
Level III Trauma
