Board Certified Family Medicine, Med-Peds, or Internal Medicine physician to provide locums coverage for their hospitalist team. Coverage dates are listed below. Provider will need to come in the day before for orientation.Rate: marketCoverage Needed:Days: 7: 30a-5: 30p March 31 April 9, 10, 11, 23, 27, 28 June 1Nights: 5: 30p-7: 30a April 21, 23, 27 May 10, 19, 24, 31 June 1, 7, 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 28Opportunity Highlights:
- Inpatient only
- 81-Bed Hospital
- Level II Trauma ED with support from nearby ECU Health Medical Center
- Total inpatient census: 30-35
- Average # of patients/day/provider: 10-12
- Average # of admissions/day: 4-6
- Average # of admission/day: 1-3
- ICU /Critical Care Procedures Expected
- Number of ICU beds: 9
- ICU/Critical care duties include: vent management, CVL, and LP
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS Required
- 24-hour surgical services support and adult hospitalist support
