Job Description

Pediatric Hospitalist – MD/DO
Start: ASAP (ongoing)
2 weeks per month (14 days)
Mon-Sun | 8a-430p | Rounding
24hr Call | 8a-8a | with 30 min call back
AVG Inpatient per Day: 15
AVG Admissions per Day: 3
Round newborn nursey; average 6 patients
Round level 2 nursery; average 4 patients
Round pediatric inpatient unit; average 3 patients
OB-GYNs, in-house anesthesiology: MD and CRNA. Multiple medical and surgical specialists in-house or on-call
EMR: Cerner
Solo work
DEA, CPR, PALS, NRP (Neonational Resuscitation Program), BC, BE
2 Years relevant experience
Procedures: Stabilization of a critical newborn to transfer neonatal resuscitation, Intubation, Lumbar puncture, Peripheral venous access, Umbilical catheter placement, Circumcision, Thoracentesis, CPAP supervision
2-4 week credentialing
